Woman Ejected from SUV in Jessup Fatal Car Crash
On Friday, October 26, 2012, Christina Marie Tobash, of the 3700 block of Piedmont Ave., Baltimore died after apparently running a red light on Telegraph Road in Jessup. The 35-year-old’s vehicle crashed through a chain link fence after losing control of her vehicle, The Baltimore Sun reported. She was ejected from a 2002 Ford Explorer she was driving after swerving to avoid vehicles stopped at a red light on Telegraph Road at Annapolis Road at 2:54 p.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ms. Tobash was driving north on Telegraph Road when she approached vehicles stopped at the traffic signal. She allegedly continued through the red light, lost control and left the roadway, striking a curb and then a utility police, police said. The Explorer bounced off the pole, spun clockwise, overturned several times and crashed through the fence.
